Procedure of Teaching
Since the school is far from the university, I waited for the bus for almost an hour. I should be early to school every time. My schedule for demo teaching is not the same as that of my co-student teachers, so I need to be independent.
Grade 6 Class (First Demo)
As I entered the classroom for my first demo lesson, I was very nervous, but it changed when I saw cute faces looking at me. Vietnamese students are so cute and adorable. Seeing them made me feel at ease, and I smiled at them sweetly. They stood and greeted me "Good morning, teacher". I set up my laptop for the presentation. The class went well by following the lesson plan.
The class began at the exact time and started with the preliminary. I introduced myself first. I gave motivational activities to present the lesson. I gave some figure shapes because they are needed for our subject matter, especially for our lesson. I allow the students to measure the figure for themselves and motivate them to answer. For the time being, I used English. It is quite difficult to communicate with them because the language that they use in mathematics is their native language. Some students want to answer, but they are afraid to talk because it is in English. So far, I can see that they understand my lesson because of their assessment. Some students answered it in chorus, while other students raised their hands. I give gifts for them every time they answer in our discussion. For concluding activities, I let them answer the questions using a game, and they enjoyed it. The class ended in exactly 40 minutes, as planned.
Grade 9 (Second to Fourth Demo)
It is different from Grade 6 because Grade 9 has only 10 students, while Grade 6 has 18 students. The students are taller than me. These students are very participative and active. The procedure for the teaching practice is the same as with the first demo. There were a lot of activities in order that the students did not get bored. One of my activities is problem solving using puzzles, snakes, ladders, and others.
In mathematics, it is essential that we use different strategies in order for the students to invest themselves in mathematics because some of the students hate the subject because of computation. In preliminary activities, I made them energized using a dance. I allow them to wiggle their bodies so that they won't be sleepy for our discussion. After the preliminary activities, we proceed to the recapitulation, discussion of new concepts, activities, concluding activities, assessment or evaluation, and if they will have an assignment.

Time Management and Organizing Activities
I always arrive on time for scheduled classes and should be 15 minutes early. I stayed in the lounge area with some of my co-student teachers from different universities who were waiting for their class. While waiting, I prepare my instructional materials and lesson if I forget something to attach.
After entering the classroom, I immediately prepared the TV for the presentation and instructional materials. The allotted time for preliminary is 5 minutes; discussion proper is 20 minutes; and concluding activity is 5 minutes. The class ended in exactly 40 minutes. It is not time-consuming when giving instructions to the students because everyone can read my PowerPoint presentation because every word is being translated into Vietnamese.
Problem-Solving
I encourage them to answer the activities and share them with the class. Allowing them to measure its sides, differentiation of the equilateral triangle, square, and hexagon, and proving a theorem of angles and altitude of a right triangle. If the students have clarifications or questions, I encourage them to raise their hands and speak up.
Classroom Management
I didn't have difficulties with classroom management. Students are well-behaved and quiet. The classroom is clean and well-organized. In our preliminary activity, I included the classroom arrangement, where students need to arrange their table and chairs, sit properly, listen and participate, and raise their hands if they have questions or clarifications. In every activity, I roam around so that I can see if they are doing the activity or having a problem with the activity. When we have a game, it is normal that they are quite noisy because they are excited, but they stop being quiet when I raise my hand.
